We are pleased to announce that Golf Autoscore will be introduced into our club in the near future. Autoscore combines the tradition of the golf scorecard with time saving technology, and will provide significant benefits for members and club staff / match committee. Members will receive a Golf Autoscore card when playing in club competitions that displays your name, handicap, tee time and specific course details on the cards. The Golf Autoscore scorecard is marked by the golfer like a traditional scorecard, but in addition, strokes are marked on a ‘lotto’ style panel for each of the 18 holes. At the completion of the round the scorecard is fed into a Mark Reader and the scoring information is recorded in approximately 5 seconds. The system will highlight mistakes and discrepancies made by the marker/player and enables you to adjust prior to submitting the card, hence eliminating the chance of error and disqualification. AutoScore scans scorecards, replacing the need to manually enter scores. This provides greater accuracy and faster results on competition day. The AutoScore data is also used to provide:

  • administration free eclectic competitions.
  • instant hole indexing report.
  • member score statistics.
  • perfectly aligned with the Australian handicap changes.
